Serving Tray Oval Iceblue
Product Description
A small oval serving tray in iceblue stoneware, flat and shallow, made in Germany by Viola Beuscher.
The tray measures L 18 cm and W 10,5 cm at a height of just 1 cm, and weighs about 300 g. It is the smaller of the two oval trays in this release, sized for a single portion rather than a shared board, which is why it is used as often on a bedside table or a desk as it is at the table.
The piece is shaped and finished by hand in stoneware clay and fired until the body vitrifies, so it stays food-safe without further sealing. The pale iceblue reads cooler than the creme version and sits quietly against darker wood or stone surfaces.
Used for a few biscuits, olives, or a slice of cake, and just as often for rings, earrings, and small everyday objects that need a place to land.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.

We focus on creating pottery that is both durable and crafted in a minimalistic yet cheerful style. Alongside our seasonal collections, we offer a core collection of timeless items that allow customers to build a sustainable collection over time.
We appreciate our community's feedback and use it to inform our collections, ensuring that our pieces resonate with those who use them while remaining true to our vision.
