The Bestsellers are the pieces that leave our studio in Germany most often. Nothing here is chosen for the look of a photograph: these are the forms customers come back for and reorder, which makes them the safest starting point if you are buying handmade ceramics for the first time.
What is in the collection
The selection is led by cups, the pieces used every single day: coffee cups from the Nomi and Yun series, tea cups, and the Splash Red and Lilac Sky glazes. Alongside them sit the 15 cm breakfast bowl, the 22 cm dinner bowl, the Otis vase, the cutlery rest sets and the 8-piece tableware set. A few non-ceramic favourites belong here too, from ceremonial matcha and hojicha to scented candles and palo santo.
Why these pieces repeat
The bestsellers share a practical trait: they take daily use. Each is thrown on the potter's wheel from stoneware and fired at 1220 °C, which vitrifies the body, makes it food-safe without further sealing, and lets the tableware go in the dishwasher. Small differences in rim line, glaze depth and colour are part of hand production and are not faults.
Buying one piece or a set
Every bestseller belongs to a series that stays in our permanent range, so a single cup bought now can be extended into a set of four or a full service later. If you are buying as a gift, the cups and the cutlery rest sets are the safest choice: they do not depend on a matching colour already being in the recipient's cupboard.
