Every handmade cup from the Viola Beuscher studio in one place, for coffee, espresso, tea, matcha, or something cold. Each piece is thrown on the potter's wheel from stoneware clay in Germany and fired at 1220 °C, a temperature at which the body vitrifies and stays food-safe without any further sealing.
From 75 ml to 260 ml
The range covers espresso at 75 ml, coffee from 180 ml to 240 ml, tea at 260 ml, and matcha at 250 ml in a wide bowl form you can whisk in. The flat white cup is deliberately wide and low at Ø 8.5 cm and H 5.5 cm. Most cups are handleless, so the warmth of the drink reaches the hands.
Series and surfaces
Nomi is cylindrical and spare, in grey stoneware with hand-painted brush strokes, a raw exterior, or an ice blue glaze. Yun is rounded and softer at Ø 9 cm. The Happy Edition works with spray-applied glazes and colour gradients. Because glaze, airbrush, and brushwork are all guided by hand, no two cups carry the same surface.
Single pieces, sets, seconds, and samples
Most forms are sold individually and as sets of two, four, or six. Cups with a small cosmetic flaw are sold as seconds at a reduced price, fully usable. Samples are pieces made outside the regular collections, often as a single existing example. All cups are dishwasher safe.
