The handmade stoneware egg cup is crafted in our Frankfurt studio and designed as a small ceramic object for everyday breakfast use. This handmade stoneware egg cup is made from high-quality stoneware and finished with a bright red glaze that gives the piece a lively presence on the table. The cup features a softly flared rim with a subtle wave shape that adds a sculptural detail while keeping the overall form compact and functional.
Each handmade stoneware egg cup is shaped and finished by hand before being fired at high temperatures. The glaze is applied manually and develops a glossy surface during firing. Because every piece is handmade, small variations in tone, glaze flow and surface texture may occur. These subtle differences are part of the handcrafted ceramic process and give each handmade stoneware egg cup its own individual appearance while maintaining a consistent overall shape.
The compact form holds eggs securely and works well for both soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs. The slightly wider opening allows the egg to sit comfortably while the rounded base keeps the object stable on the table. The vibrant red glaze adds a strong color accent and can be combined with other ceramic pieces or tableware.
Made from high-fired stoneware and finished with food safe glazes, the egg cup is durable and designed for everyday use. Each handmade stoneware egg cup is inspected before leaving our studio to ensure consistent quality.

Every item is handcrafted in our pottery studio in Frankfurt by our workshop team of six.
It takes about 10 to 14 days to make each piece, depending on the season and weather. The process includes ten steps: wedging, throwing, trimming, stamping, sponging, first firing, sanding, glazing, second firing, and grinding, ensuring that each piece is ready to use.
We put a lot of care and precision into our work because any oversight means starting over, so our team collaborates closely, ensuring that every step runs smoothly. We focus on creating durable and functional ceramics that bring our love for this craft into your everyday life.
